Sitting at the keyboard, I am puzzled by such high public support figures for the war within the United States. Europe seems to be characterised by the opposite, not to mention the rest of the world. I take this to mean that the rest of the world has not been subjected to the vigorous propaganda machine which has descended on apparently unsuspecting american people.

And not everything is bad, no, on the contrary. Germany has emerged as a focal point of resistance to (american) war, a fascinating indicator of the possibility of substantial historical processes and fundamental change.
